Proven Scientific Evidence For 3 Month Double-Blind Study of 122 Overweight Individuals


Dr Walter Mertz discovered that this "active" chromium was complexed with several amino acids and the B-vitamin niacin and called this chromium complex: "Glucose Tolerance Factor" or "GTF."

Dr. Mertz concluded that niacin was the key to chromium's biological activity. Neither niacin by itself nor the common chromium picolinate complex had any significant effect on glucose metabolism.
